I think you need to take a look at the possibilty of a hardware revision to accommodate the CVTs.
If I'm reading this blog post correctly, we shouldn't have a lot to worry about.
Specifically, we want to look at the graph comparing stock turbo w/ tune to W1 turbo w/ modified tune. In that graph, we see a gain in HP without a gain in torque.
For us, this is good, because torque, not HP, is...

I'd love to see a top down view video of placing the box in, either by you or someone in the community. No idea why it was so difficult, but we were basically off by the whole space occupied by the short bracket (since we had to remove it first to get it to fit).

So, got it installed last night. Before I get to the installation, some initial impressions.
Absolutely LOVE the sound my car makes now. From a volume standpoint it's only marginally louder, but everything sounds so much more defined and deep. And the turbo suction is very clear now. Throttle...

car is definitely louder, but not by a whole lot.
the sound itself is so much better though. everything about the engine sounds deeper and more refined.
the thing got loudest by far is the turbo suction.
my gf's lancer gts is still way louder than my car with her...
