Like I did with my current Accord, after delivery of my CTR I intend to use the factory wheels for winter tyres (once the original set of summer tires is used) and like to buy those CE28SL 18 inch wheels for summer tires.
As the wheel diameter is different, I have been calculating the distance...
I found the 20x8.5J Modulo's to be 8.4 kg (= 18.5 lb) lighter than the originals.
So an original weight of 28 lb - 18.5 lb difference equals to only 9.5 lb, or 4.3 kg!
That is very, very light IMO. Is it possible or were they talking about complete wheels instead of just the rims or is it 8.4...
Ok, thanks all for the information. I like the CE28SL design and also the graphite color, maybe it would be a better match with my blue CTR than the black of the original wheels. Does anybody perhaps has an original wheel to weight, in order to know the weight difference? EDITED: I found 28 lb...
