Unrelated, but today I saw a honda fit with a TypeR badge and an ///M3 license plate frame ? things are getting a bit out of hand
I don't get it, the way they left the sport badge and put the Si badge on the left must mean they're NOT trying to pass it off as an Si. But if they're going for a...
My vote always goes to rpf1 for the weight and cost but their standard colors are pretty ugly imo. The silver, gold, black are all a bit flat/bright so they lack that metallic look that most bronze/gunmetal in this thread have. Powdercoat into any color with a satin sheen and hnnnggggg
The split headlight is really growing on me, looks freaky. Also it's like the opposite of the 10th gen base headlight "eyes" which make it look even more alien in that context.
Instead of the k20c1, put in a 1.5 with a w1 or similar early-ish torque curve that also redlines to 7k ? less displacement and less power than the R but still a modern turbo engine you can rev out. Or does that defeat the purpose of an economy turbo?
That makes the beltline too flat and takes away from the "hips" of the rear quarter, imo. Almost reminiscent of a truck bed or a big flat convertible or something.
Heavier means more inertia so getting the car moving from a stop requires less clutch/throttle and rpm management. I think ~20lb is still considered a "normal" weight flywheel, you wouldn't notice actual drivability trouble until you went down to like ~10lb. I have the ctr flywheel and while the...
The new tach especially seems weird. If they were gonna go back to 2 regular looking gauges it would have been nicer to have physical ones instead of the flat/cheap looking digital screen
The wide fenders will probably be more apparent in person with dynamic light reflections, it seems harder...
Tig ol' flared wheel arches on an otherwise "normal" looking car always gets my juices flowing.. somewhat similar to the 2 generations of M3's before the current beaver grille gen. If someone offered me a FREE type r right now but I had to pick between 10th and 11th gen it would be a pretty...
Well we have to see what the 11th gen accord looks like first to make a full judgement. IMO the 11th gen civics look pretty sharp on the road especially with the sport trim, or whichever comes with the matte black wheels. I've seen the basic colors (red, blue, white, black) and liked all of...
For the 11th gen civic I can't imagine why someone would pick the sedan over the hatch. The hatch taillights look very much like a kia stinger (or certain audis) and combined with the low down trunk lid it has a very sporty look similar to the mentioned cars. Meanwhile the sedan looks like a...
