Hello guys,
I previously posted about a vibration issue on my FL5 Civic Type R. Thanks to everyone who showed interest and tried to help me out.
I finally took it to the mechanic, and the verdict was both front wheel bearings—exactly what I was most afraid of.
While searching online, I found...
Tyres with 5k miles, i have no arch liner installed, but i’ll check the plastic. I also doubt that it is bevause of drivetrain. I can not feel any vibration on steering wheel, but inner worn tyre doubts me a lot
Hello,
For a few weeks now, I’ve been experiencing a strange vibration coming from the left side of the car. I had the wheels aligned perfectly, so I initially ruled that out. Today, I suspected the left rim might be slightly bent or out of balance, but after checking, I found no issues there...
Hello everyone,
I’m planning to change the engine oil on my 2025 Civic Type R. After a rebuild, it’s finally time to take care of some technical maintenance.
The car has very low mileage — just 6,000 km — and I’m planning to use Motul 8100 Eco-clean 0W-20 engine oil. For coolant, I’m...
Is there any option, through the OBD or computer settings, to keep it fixed so I don’t have to deselect it every time I start the car? Also, since my CTR FL5 is the American version, I can’t set it to Celsius. Does it require European programming?
BRAKE!!! Every time I deselect this option, it automatically turns back on when I start the car again. Is there a way to fix this? It’s quite annoying when driving aggressively, it pops up whenever you get close to another car. (first option stays deselected, idk what’s with collision...
I guess hanger just makes sure it is fixed positioned (i guess when cornering it should be levelled at the same height, as it has 4 of them on each wheel ) . there is no other use than that i can think of. its just a wire whicu should be plugged.
I scanned with launch obd scanner , error was lost communication to the right sensor (i thought it was only for headlight), every wiring seemed fine so i just plugged headlight sensor wiring (even damaged sensor fixed it) and it worked.
Fixed!!! “adaptive damper system see your dealer problem” it was headlight right sensor. I had spare sensor from back suspension, transferred to the front iron body plugged in and instantly error is gone
Hi everyone,
I'm in the final stages of rebuilding my Civic Type R FL5, and everything is nearly complete. However, I've encountered an issue: I'm getting an "Adaptive Damper System Error – See Your Dealer" message.
I've checked all four wiring harnesses, and they are fully intact. I was able...
