ITS ADS is perfect imo, had it out on a VERY bumpy karting track last week and it was perfectly controlled in every suspension mode. My favorite thing about it is that it seems to be more of a passive damper setting that doesn't react to your driving (like the CTR ADS), so damping is...
Here's a driving video with the smaller front resonator delete. First part is with the valve closed/in factory setting, second part of the video is with the valve locked open/fuse pulled. Video starts with a cold start too.
Sounds great imo. I just wish Honda programmed the exhaust valve to...
That sounds perfect! Getting my front resonator deleted this Friday - MRT is going to develop a front resonator delete that supposedly will be “stupid cheap.” Will post a video asap.
Tested this out at the track a couple weeks ago - Pedal dance will completely disable traction and stability control. +R mode with traction and stability control “off” will still engage the rear brakes to help rotate the car around corners, resulting in accelerated rear pad wear. Basically, same...
Update - I'm going to have to agree with you guys on this after living with ADS disabled for a couple months and a track day. It felt pretty good in 20ºF weather on all-season tires but now that temps are up, the car is way too underdamped. Going to revert back for the summer
How even was tire wear? I remember the FK8 needed some negative camber to avoid destroying the outside of the tire. But in the FL5 around Sonoma on sport cup 2 tires, wear was surprisingly even at stock camber settings.
Great to hear brakes held up well!
Stay away from carbon guards. They don’t give refunds even after waiting for 5+ months. Had to dispute charges on both credit card and PayPal. ?
In other news, I just saw these on instagram and found this link

Not in the near future, been really happy with dampers in full soft, even on the stock 19" PS4S. I think it'll do well on track too. I'll look at swapping in an Integra Type S ADS module before coils.
This pixelated carplay bug has been happening to me on the regular in my Type R. I saw it happen in the '23 Accord we tested last week, and it did the same thing briefly in a '23 Volvo S60 T8 yesterday. First time I've seen it in something besides a Honda.

Here's the link to their FL5 page. I ordered some for my BRZ in December and Type R in February and am still waiting for them to come in... :/
UPDATE - had to open up a PayPal dispute and call my...
I've noticed some rougher cold start behavior too for the first few minutes of driving, but from the beginning of ownership (well before pulling the valve fuse). The open valve is so far back in the exhaust system I doubt it affects flow, just enhances what may have been happening already.
