You’re not wrong, I just don’t want to deal with the additional bulky grommet since I can just depin the connectors for an OEM clean install. Obviously we are looking at it through the lense of a consumer. I don’t know what OP goes through to have these made along with the whole cost/profit aspect.

as for including a gasket, can’t you avoid that by sending out units de-pinned so it can easily be routed through the existing gasket?

Any chances for future batches to come with a longer cable as Phothrottle recommended? I can definitely see how much easier it would be to have the module accessible through the reverse light bulb access panel.

I was interested in the 41twentytwo kit but if the thieves can just drive off with your car what's the point? I'm sure they'll just pull over, pop the hood, then just replace the relay when the car stops. I'm just guessing here but the most dangerous part about stealing a car is someone coming...
