I doubt you actually have any troubles from the contact unless you actually see some kind of damage. But, as mentioned, take it to the dealer if you are worried and just tell them about the strange noises and other concerns. I would suggest that you not tell them this story though.

I agree with you. I saw a HPK spoiler(?) added to a Sport Hatchback on the dealer showroom floor last week that looked awesome. It was the same color blue as shown in this thread on the Type R.

I understand but your achieved price should be a good reference for cost or even to use as negotiating a price if someone is quoted more. Did you leave the car with them or just the spoiler? And thanks for your information and posts.

I would guess it is the gearing in the SI being for better 0-60mph time. More sporty and also tuned for more hp than the other Civic models and trims. You would need to compare 2023 SI mpg to a 2022/2021/2020/2019/2018 year model.

Just yesterday a Chattanooga Honda Dealer quoted me $55k on a new Type R. I simply told him that I was not interested at anything above MSRP.

I like just about all colors of the Civic models, some just appeal to me more than others. I am really considering a white or black myself, but I saw one yesterday in boost blue with the HPD package and it was beautiful. I just can't see me wanting that bright of a color for the next 5-10 years...

Yes, regarding the idle stopper. I went to the web site but the reviews I read were about other models and there were some saying they did it in ten min and others saying more than an hour and had to remove some dash parts? Some saying leads were too short and such, hard to get to and install...
