I yea, the one I have is like a "plus" package that includes cosmetic repair, so I can get a repair done whenever. I think mine only covers up to $200/wheel for repair, and the place I used charges $250 (they do good work), so I footed $50 myself. They did cover the whole tire though which was...
I have the wheel protection package from the dealer sold me backed by Allstate. You send a copy of it to the repair shop of your choice and they are supposed to make a claim. I got a new PS4S tire and a wheel repair covered through it last year.
The first few days I had a bunch of rattles and squeaks, especially in the dash and around the side windows, but after driving around a bunch they all went away. I didn't do anything to try to fix them. Just wanted to mention to maybe let it settle before taking things apart :p
2) Switched to 18x9.5 wheels and 255/40/18 PS A/S tires and the ride feels way better.
3) Full PPF + ceramic coat (sadly as with most places in MA I do not have a garage...)
I'm thinking of going but don't have FB (and don't want to sign up). Is there anything else to know besides booking a room and showing up? Will you cross-post any updates here? Any tips for first timers? Thanks!
I also have an android and just experienced the issue with android auto not connecting. It kept saying device not compatible (despite it having worked the entire time I've owned the car til now). I had to reboot the infotainment system to fix it.
I think I'm one of the minority that did the whole car, but I decided to do Xpel Stealth. All the piano black pieces were done in Xpel Ultimate.
Here's some photos if you're curious.
Good to know. Definitely lots to learn with this car. I think I just experienced my first rock in the brakes and was freaking out due to the horrendous screeching ?
