Seconded! In my experience, it has the “completely different color depending on the lighting” quality that Sonic Gray has.

Love it! Need to get mine done. Trying to decide between 20% and 25%. Had 25% on my 2016 but was always wondering what it would be like being a little darker.

About 10 minutes. The key is to pop the two from the sides first, then pull towards you. Didn’t break a single clip. The ones in the hatch were a bit harder since they were tight and I couldn’t fit my hand in there easily. But it wasn’t too bad.

Had similar luck here. Had a deposit on a Sonic Gray at a local dealership, but saw a dealership had an SMP in transit that was about 3 hours from me. Called them and no one had anything on it. Got the car three days later.

Did the same thing yesterday, plus the reverse and turn signals. World of a difference.

Love your car. Coming from a gray 10th gen coupe, I can definitely see the purple above all else. My girlfriend is the opposite though, she says “you basically got a black car” so it’s an active campaign to convince her it’s purple ?

Here’s some photos! Had to wait a few days for rain to pass before I could give it a proper hand wash and wax. The color is so interesting. Some lighting it’s a dead ringer for grey, and others it’s undoubtedly purple. It’s beautiful.

Just got mine Friday, and yeah it’s wild how different it can look depending on the light. It’s almost like a matte color with a clear coat on it, if that makes any sense. But in some lights it’s metallic. Think of a purple sonic gray. About to give it it’s first wash and I’ll take some pics...
