I like understanding everything ad nauseum, so we have that in common!
I didn't originally have this issue with KTuner boost targets around a year or a little shorter ago. I'm assuming it was one of the updates that did it when I re-flashed a tune with the update.
Yes, I hit my 23psi exactly...
Resolved.
Just as an FYI in case anybody online comes across this forum post in the future:
The issue was something software related with KTuner. Their support had me test a few beta builds, and after trying a few we found a beta that worked and got the right results (fixing the TPS.CMD...
Hey @KTuner
I'm still not having much success in getting up to boost targets. When I'm WOT, I'll barely even hit 20.5psi, with a very brief flash to the occasional 21. I made the adjustments in the cylinder fill limit table as you asked so that all of the affected cells are slightly exceeding...
Thanks for that. I'll adjust the cylinder fill limits in the 4 and 8 coulmns by enough to cover the range of mg.stk over the RPM range I am logging. I'll then do the same pull in the same spot I did the first log for consistency.
Hey @KTuner ,
Thanks for that suggestion, you are right, I am seeing that tps.cmd is around 82 to 90, peaking for just a brief moment to 94ish (though tps does show 100 or 104, if that value matters), even though that entire time I had the pedal to the floor.
So I'm looking at this table, what...
Hey CivicX and @KTuner ,
I'm really smashing my head with this one. I am trying to get my tune to be 23psi and actually hit it (and hold) consistently, but it's just not happening. I can not seem to exceed 20 on average, and some of the behavior of boost targets in my data log just don't make...
Looks like the damaged downpipe was indeed the issue. The new downpipe and the rest of my parts are back on and my tune is reflashed, and everything seems to be good.
Here's a datalog I took last night. LTFT is staying at 0% or +/-2. If anybody can take a look if I need to do anything further...
I’ll get to that as I start putting my parts back on. I just got my warranty replacement PRL downpipe since the one i had was defective (cat slid around inside/loose) don’t know if that was my issue. Been driving around stock for about 600 miles and all my issues disappeared.
Downpipe and...
That makes sense, but at this point I need to verify that the tune I paid $500 for is good. I’m hoping somebody here who is knowledgeable with it is nice enough to take the short time to check over my file and see if something is really wrong.
