Oh that actually I'm not worried about. I have an HDPE splitter on there too and that stuff doesn't scrape, maybe barely a couple times - it's the 2 center flat top screws underneath on the front skid. We had a road repair n our neighborhood that's sinking and it's already basically driving into...
Nice, thanks! I've been talking myself out of it bc a few certain unavoidable angles around the house but I think I can manage the drop especially with the taller tire as far as minor scraping is concerned.
I have the same car & wheels but 18x10.5 +47 with 285/35/18. I have the front guide pins pulled and rear RV6 arms for -2 & -2.5 camber. I've been wondering about the Pro kit fitting with this setup and I'd think with yours being taller, I should be fine with springs about an inch drop and no rub.
Blankets will help substantially more than the TIP. Took these immediately a couple hard runs. The PTP hybrid shield will be available in a month or so through TSP and temps were in the mid 100's if you can wait.
No problem at all man, just hope it helps! Fortunately I’ve only found nut remnants on top of my battery blanket & around the oil fill area ? been dousing it ever since lol I tried dryer sheets & moth balls before also in my Jeep. Dryer sheets don’t last & moth ball smell will seep into the...
Here’s the one I’ve been using successfully. Turns out it does have some coconut oil in there, but that may actually help with keeping it to stick to the surface a little bit perhaps. ??♂️
I’ll verify tomorrow the one I actually have to make sure I’m getting you the right info. The one that looks similar says it has coconut oil blended with it, but I’m fairly certain mine says 100% oil. I usually spray roughly once a month in the colder months.
There’s still a chance it may be too diluted. I had the same feeling a few years back & switched to only using straight 100% peppermint oil that comes in a spray & haven’t had problems since. Maybe try that. I did have to reapply as obviously humidity & dew point play factors.
I live in the woods & this is a constant battle. I’ve tried many, many things including some of these things mentioned, but one things works the best & never fails - peppermint oil. Find a spray or you can even dilute it with some water and put into a spray bottle and then spray access points...
Would absolutely be interested! I plan on tracking & drive my DE5 as intended on the street, so it sounds like this is something I could add to my plethora of Two Step parts. ?
I have an ITS coming, but plan on making a led paddle sign that says, Kids On Board, sorry - or something of the like....with also a lit up silhouette of what I carry.
