Looks like a misapplied (or more specifically, incorrectly removed) ceramic coating or wax. Definitely have a good detailer do a decontamination and polish to get this out.

All in all Civic paint isn't thinner or thicker than any other manufacturer, it seems there are other issues at play (e.g. contact with foreign objects) that seem to be the issue.

There’s clearly some sort of rubbing going on between your panels, I’d definitely investigate that bit but I wouldn’t say that particular issue is necessarily related to paint quality.

Very odd…in your first picture, it looks like the door has moved from its original position based on the (lack of) paint on the top side of the bolt.

Have your doors been adjusted?

You do but if you have a provider, you can usually call them same day. I had a VIN before I picked mine up so I called a couple days before and said please make the policy effective as of X date.

I think it's a challenge to capture the flake in the SGP as well--I've MAYBE gotten one pic with the green coming through.

Just had my tint and ceramic coating done late last week! Tint is Formula One Pinnacle, 50% on sides and back. I'll have the same shop do the windshield in Llumar Air 80% late this week/early next. I might have gone one shade lighter on the tint given the black interior but I love the look of...
