So my dealer called yesterday and told me that they have submitted my information to Honda Canada so I’m kinda pumped about it. I figure that will make sure they are committed to selling it to me. Problem is is it’s a 2024…

Sounds legit. Just got home from signing all the paperwork, I was no.2 on list. Mid sized Ontario dealer and they were allocated 3 cars over the 3 years, with potential for perhaps an additional few cars but no guarantees. For reference they sold and delivered 5 of the last model year CTR and were expecting more but this is all they got as of now.

First car arrives in next 3 months with second (mine) later summer / early fall for potential delivery.

Paid MSRP plus freight and a nominal PDI.

I did the same thing with a dealer on Friday, they gave me a whole BOS, but no real info past that. I was told that I was number 3 on his list (bumped some people) and the sales guy was trying to push me to number 2, because I have a 2022 car to trade in on it. I'm inclined to believe half of that is BS and I likely wont get a car any time soon or at all, but a boy can dream. He seemed to think they were getting 2-3 this/next year which I am kind of doubting as well.

I’m sure I will be the only one with a CTR. My neighbour has a Mclaren 720S, Ferrari 812SF, Audi RS6 Advant and Tesla plaid.

Another has a Gallardo and another a 991 GT2.

Just confirmed, someone who placed an order at a dealer that got one skipped the entire line with their deposit placed late into the cycle.

I can't criticize them, the GSM offered the spot up on a silver plate. They didn't even have to fight for it OR ADD PACKAGES TO SECURE THE DEAL. The person wasn't even connected to the GSM in any manner either rofl. They purchaser was just as shocked being offered the spot.....

Good for them, fuck the dealership IMO.

As I have stated before lines mean fuck all. They litterally don't secure u anything.

Orders have been open to be placed last Friday on the Honda portal. This person got their order placed last Friday, VIN today.

If you haven't heard from dealer or been provided this detail I suggest you all ask.

I still haven't been given this detail from my dealer.

Additional information 17 FL5 coming to Canada via first batch from Minnesota. 2 are allocated to Honda Canada HQ.
