We wanted to share our 2.0t downpipe we have engineered and manufactured unlike anything on the market. We make these in Arizona in house and our 100% made in the USA. We came up with the idea for the customers who wanted to stick to the laws of the street but want the ultimate performance for the track without sacrifice.

The downpipe is unique that you can change from Catted downpipe in 10 minutes to catless.

Order online today: https://axionperformanceparts.com/p...evolution-2n1-downpipe?variant=46939099005216

Our patent-pending combo replaces the highly restrictive O.E pre-cat with a free-flowing, contoured, hand-welded and full radius 3.0" tubing. The upper factory heat shields cannot still be installed, but we will be testing the PTP downpipe blankets, which we recommend.

The entire assembly made of high-quality 304 stainless steel and is TIG welded by our master welders in the USA.

The thought behind this downpipe is to be 100% EPA legal so you don't have to buy a catless downpipe. You can swap out the catless portion at the track for racing events only, and can return the catted portion, within 5 min., with our V-band clamps to make it extremely easy. This downpipe works with OEM front pipe or also 3" aftermarket front pipes.

Specifications:

  • 200 cell high-temperature, high-flow cat
  • 304 stainless precision transition sections
  • 304 stainless 3.0” OD tubing
  • Quality USA-made Clampco V-band clamp for leak free connection
  • Fully TIG welded
  • Argon back gassed for pure welds
Included:

  • Catless race pipe
  • Gasket
  • Hardware
  • 11th Gen Honda Civic Axion Industries 2N1 Catted / Catless Downpipe IMG_9543

Just curious, because I did not read it on this post or from the information sourced from your website. Are you guaranteeing that this catalytic converter setup will not throw a check engine light like the TSP downpipe?

I may be wrong, but some states may require there to be no emissions based CELS at the time of inspection as well.

Just curious. Thanks.

This 100% throws a cel, not an issue you just need to turn off with your tuning device. Only time you should care about the downpipe throwing a code is if you dont plan to run a tuning device

I understand the circumstances revolving around what throws a code and what doesn't. However, I appreciate the information. I was bringing forward the question, in order for you to clarify and possibly include that information on your site and here.

In my opinion, your direct competition is the TSP downpipe offering in that it Segways, those that want one option to take them from stock to fully built/tuned.

Based on my county not having emissions testing, I did not option for the TSP and instead went with a INNOVATIG catless DP. So I am not being biased or hostile.

However, on face value looking at your product, I do find it highly innovative, well built and functional for its specific application. I just wanted to clarify for those that thought they could add to their stock car for more flow/sound without worry of a CEL.

Great offering guys, keep it up!

Thanks.

We always love the feedback, we found a need for this and thought people would really enjoy having both options in 1 unit.

Any pics of the DP installed?
I would have to reach out to a few of our customers and see, we have around 30 of these already sold over the past year

Any plans on offering a 300/400 cell option? Great concept, but throwing a code makes this a harder sell for emissions and OBD testing states.

Its just going to raise the price and people complain about that already. 400cel cats can still throw codes as we have seen with companies selling those ones

I could look into it as its nice to be friendly with the epa on these but the price would rise due the more expensive 400cel unit

Maybe you can do a group buy interest check for a batch of larger cat

How many would it take to make business sense?
It could happen and we just do a pre order to buy, typically we like to do a min run of 10 for cost reasons.
